NOTICES OF PROPOSED RULES:
(The date in parentheses is the date the rules were filed in the Legislative Research Council):DEPARTMENT OF GAME, FISH AND PARKS: (December 13, 1999) intends to adopt EMERGENCY rules to remove Clear Lake in Hamlin County from the list of liberalized fishing waters to protect fish populations from over-harvest and to reopen the elk hunting season in Butte County from December 18, 1999, through January 16, 2000, to minimize elk depredation to private property. The general authority for these rules, as cited by the department, is SDCL 41-2-18 and 41-8-1.
A copy of the proposed rule may be obtained from the Department of Game, Fish and Parks, 523 East Capitol, Pierre, South Dakota, 57501.
DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES: (December 16, 1999) intends to adopt rules relating to programs administered by the Office of Adult Services and Aging, namely homemaker services, community placement services, respite care services, and alternative care services. The general authority for these rules, as cited by the department, is SDCL 25-4-45.3, 28-1-45, 28-1-61, 28-6-1, 28-6A-12, and 28-8-28.
A public hearing will be held in Conference Room #2, Kneip Office Building, 700 Governors Drive, Pierre, South Dakota, on Thursday, January 6, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. to consider the adoption of the proposed rules. Copies of the proposed rules may be obtained from and written comments sent to Jill Wellhouse, Administrative Rules, Department of Social Services, 700 Governors Drive, Pierre, South Dakota 57501. Ms. Wellhouse may be contacted by telephone at (605) 773-3305. Written comments must be received by Tuesday, January 18, 2000, to be considered. This hearing is being held in a physically accessible place. Persons who have special needs for which the department can make arrangements may call (605) 773-3305 at least forty-eight hours before the hearing.
